Meet “Chef Matt”

Matthew McComb is a graduate of the 2010 Class of The Academy of Culinary Arts at ACCC in Mays Landing, New Jersey. While in school, he studied abroad in Alsace, France, where he deepened his passion for food, travel, and the art of hospitality.

Over the years, Matt has built a diverse and impressive culinary career—cooking for top CEOs, high-profile clients, and NBA players, both in private settings and through exclusive events. His background includes work with major corporations such as Norwegian Cruise Lines and Nordstrom Restaurants, along with a wide range of restaurant experience across South Jersey and the Jersey Shore, where he held multiple Executive Chef positions.

Today, Chef Matt is the owner of Chef Matt’s Culinary Creations LLC, offering premium in-home dining experiences, meal prep, and private events. He also serves as an Adjunct Instructor at The Academy of Culinary Arts. He also has developed a new program to help up-and-coming personal chefs launch and grow their own successful businesses.

Diagnosed with Celiac Disease, Matt understands firsthand what it’s like to feel "left out" at the table. That’s why he makes it a priority to create inclusive, personalized meals that accommodate all dietary needs—so that everyone can feel welcome, nourished, and part of the experience.
